16-year-old Leticia Kyere Pinamang, a final year student of the Miracle Schools JHS in Sunyani in the Bono Region was found hanging in the schools dining hall on Monday 17th May, 2021.
It came as a shock to the whole of Ghana and many find it difficult to understand what might have caused a beautiful girl in her final year in JHS to allegedly commit su!c!de.
Her mother, big sister and best friend have all spoken about her demise and according to them, she did not take her own live.
The family are of the view that Leticia was murdered by someone within the confines of the school; and framed to look like she committed suicide.
Her father has added his voice to the family’s claim; and is also standing strongly behind their conviction that Leticia was murdered.
According to her dad, she is so afraid of harming herself; and even when she is in the kitchen preparing food and a kn!fe cuts her, her reaction alone shows how she abhors to hurt herself.
So he doesn’t understand how and why she would decide to take her own life.
