Will it be redemption time for the Northern Zone champions, Ampem Darkoa ladies to redeem their image, losing three times in a 2021 calendar year to Champions of the Women’s Premier League Hasaacas Ladies?

Hasaacas Ladies emerged as Southern Zone champions in the 2020-2021 season, where they faced off 2020-2021 Northern Zone Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Champion of Champions. On the finals of the champions, Hasaacas ladies defeated the Southern Champions by 4 goals to Nil. 

In the calendar year, Ampem Darkoa and Hasaacas Ladies have locked horns at the Accra Sports Stadium for the finals of the FA Cup. A goal by Doris Boaduwa and Milot Abena Pokuwaa secured the “Doooo” their second successive domestic trophy. 

The WAFU Zone B Champions after returning from the Inaugural edition of the CAF Women’s Champions as runner-ups to Sundowns Ladies participated in the maiden edition of the Women’s Premier League Super Cup. 

Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies met in the semi-finals for the showdown. A brace by Success Ameyaa and Veronica Appiah leads Hasaacas Ladies to beat Ampem Darkoa in three consecutive times.

The power house of Women’s football in Ghana, Hasaacas Ladies will come up against Ampem Darkoa Ladies, in the maiden edition of the First Lady’s Cup at Accra Sports Stadium.

Will it be a fourth victory for the “Dooo” or Ampem Darkoa Ladies are eager to redeem their lost image to Hasaacas Ladies?
