Rebel Wilson spilled the beans about Pitch Perfect studio executives in new memoir.
In an excerpt of her new memoir Rebel Rising obtained by People Magazine, Rebel claimed that the producers of the American musical comedy film allegedly wanted to replace the original cast members for the third film.
As per the outlet, the acting sensation shared in the book that she and her co-stars were deemed too “old” for the 2017 flick.
Spilling the beans on this matter, Rebel wrote in her memoir, “None of us original Bellas were happy about this.”
Nonetheless, she weighed in on the original cast member’s fandom due to which they were called again for the third installment of Jason Moore’s film.
“Cue the big bucks,” she jokingly added and noted the reason for this comeback to be “Girl power!”
Before wrapping up the topic, Rebel also mentioned that returning for this movie she negotiated herself a $10 million (£8 million) paycheck.
This revelation comes after in a new confessional on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the actress talked about her desire to retreat to a log cabin now that her shocking confessions are out in public.
“I will probably go private after this for the next eight to ten years because I share so much in the book,” she remarked in that chat.
