Ghanaian dancehall artiste Kum businessman Shatta Wale has reacted after the alleged true owner of his “Shaxi” business was made public by an insider.
It will be recalled that Shatta Wale recently began a rideshare company known as ‘Shaxi’ (a portmanteau of Shatta and taxi). And even though the business is in it’s infancy, it is already being shrouded in controversy.
An insider with knowledge of the “Shaxi” brand has claimed that Shatta Wale is not the real owner of the business.
The insider, Freddie Mawuli, took to social media to allege that the “Shaxi” business rather belongs to a popular game boy in Accra.
Shatta Wale is allegedly being used as a front for the business, which is apparently nothing but a money-laundering front.
The news came as a shock to netizens and has been trending nonstop.
However, the dancehall king who appears unperturbed by the news has reacted with a post promoting his “Shaxi” business.
Since there’s no smoke without fire and since we are all in this small state called “Umuofia”, we’ll soon find out the true ownership of Shaxi.
