The Police in Amasaman have prevented an attempted robbery attack on Amasaman Melcom; and arrested one of the suspects, Richard Essilfie aged 22, who was overpowered when the police got to the crime scene.
At about 2:43 am of 29th June, 2021 a police patrol team responded to a distress call that thieves have broken into the Amasaman Melcom shop.
Upon their arrival on the scene, they managed to arrest one suspect who attempted to escape with his accomplices by jumping from the first floor of the shop to the ground.
The police are still searching for three other accomplices who escaped arrest, as the case is under investigation.
Kudos to the Ghana police on this one.
