The late Constable Emmanuel Osei who was attacked and killed during a bullion van robbery at Jamestown on Saturday, June 24, 2021 has been laid to rest.
His final funeral rites took place at Nyanyano Kakraba School Park in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Representing the government was the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery. Also, members of the Ghana Police Service, as well as family and close friends of the slain policeman were present to pay him their last respect.
Constable Emmanuel Osei, 25, died on Monday, June 24, on duty whilst escorting a bullion van commuting an undisclosed amount of money from Adedenkpo, a suburb of JamesTown in Accra when a group of armed robbers attacked the van.
