The mortal remains of late Osinachi Nwachukwu famed for her viral “Ekuweme” song has been laid to rest in her hometown in Abia State on the 25th of June, 2022
Present to bid her farewell were family members, friends and loved ones who gathered at Isochi Umunneochi area of Abia state on Saturday, 15 June, 2022 to pay their final respect to the late popular musician, Osinachi Nwachukwu.
The atmosphere was that of sadness plus gloomy expressions on the face of persons who gathered to mourn and say goodbye to the Ogbonge musician.
Osinachi died on April 8, 2022 after being hospitalized for some days. This follows reports of domestic violence and physical abuse from her husband, Peter Nwachukwu. The case is currently in court.
Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu is the main suspect in the court case and has been accused of having a hand in her death.
The four kids of the late singer, her mum and siblings wept uncontrollably whilst her casket was lowered into the ground during her burial.
