The Revelation Church has released an official statement denying allegations that they demanded, and have taken custody of Moesha Buduong’s property after she gave her life to Christ.
According to the Revelation Church in their press statement, the Ghanaian actress first visited their church six (6) weeks ago; and all they did was “to consistently show her the love of Jesus Christ”.
It will be recalled that Moesha Buduong, after announcing her repentance, went to the Church to share her testimony.
Three days ago, a video also went viral showing her in a maxi dress, looking unkempt, and speaking to a group of youth who saved her from committing suicide on an uncompleted storey building. This video took center stage and has been the topic for discussion since then.
The Statement shared by the church this morning details that it was the following day after the video went viral, that it consulted some of Moesha’s family to take to her to; “a safe and private space on discussion with her family’s consent,” for prayers.
“We would like to categorically state that at no time has Maurecia or any member of her family given any properties, cars or sale proceeds to either the lead Pastor or the Church. This is variable and any other claim is blatant from the pit of hell,” the statement reads.
The Church has further warned that it may take legal actions against anyone who continues to make false allegations against them.
