Ghanaian actress, singer, TV personality and baby mama of Shatta Wale, Michelle Diamond known widely as Michy has stated that she is pursuing law because she wants to be the voice for the hopeless.
Michy disclosed this during a live interview with Nana Romeo on his show Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra FM.
According to Michy, she has two years more to complete her law degree.
“I’m adding to my tags, my many careers. Of everything I do, I feel this will be the crown. I have the opportunity to defend the voiceless she said’’ she said.
The mother of two revealed the reason why she wants to be a lawyer. She stated that she took that decision for two reasons. Firstly, she believes that will be the only job she will be doing when she is weak and does not have the energy to sing, act, cook, and host television shows.
She further disclosed that another reason why she chose law is to serve her community by defending the voiceless. She emphasized that it is one of the channels she wants to use to help the less privileged.
The actress also disclosed her challenges in her law course saying that memorizing names and cases are very tough and she is glad there are no maths calculations involved in her course.
