Lil Wayne has picked the two teams that he believed will enter the Western Conference Finals: the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Speaking at InDisputed, the Lollipop rapper said, “These new teams, this their time and that’s why I believe they will be there. This is their league now. And I believe the Lakers, they are one of the only teams in the West who can beat the Nuggets.”

The choice of Lakers was no surprise at all, but, what raises eyebrows is the name of the Minnesota Timberwolves for the playoffs who are yet to prove their effectiveness during the postseason.

Speaking of Lakers, the Love Me rapper previously addressed the confrontation he had with security during the team’s match on February 29.

“They were just doing their job. We tried to enter one entrance of the court,” Lil shared a cooler reaction after an earlier heated response.

He continued, “When we got there, security was like, ‘No, you guys go to another entrance.’ … The other entrance he told us to go to that entrance would be behind the people already sitting down and you have to tap the people on the shoulder and ask them to get up.

Noting, “They have to move the chairs… When I saw that being explained to them I halted, ‘Ay stop, let’s go where they told us to go.’”

Lil shared, “So we go back to the first entrance that seemed okay. When I started walking to my side, the guy was like, ‘Ah, ah, ah, ah.’

“I was like, ‘Oh my God. Not the ah, ah, ah.’ … He was like, ‘I told you guys to go to the other entrance.’ I was like, ‘That’s a bit much. Let’s just leave.’”
