Ghanaian teacher kum comedian, Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly referred to as Teacher Kwadwo, has confirmed his sack by the Ghana Education Service.
Teacher Kwadwo took to social media on Saturday, December 18, 2021, to reveal that the content of a letter he received from the district education office cited him for some misconduct, hence, the decision to lay him off.

Describing as funny the grounds on which he was dismissed, Teacher Kwadwo has warned of a prolonged battle between himself and the GES.
Teacher Kwadwo on Friday, December 17, 2021, criticized the Ghana Educational Service over what he considered as poor planning in the implementation of the National Standard Test by primary four students.
He also took to social media in a series of posts to berate the government, thereby questioning its commitment to the delivery of quality education.
