A video is currently trending on social media showing the former President John Dramani Mahama supposedly visiting injured victims of the Kaaka Mohammed murder protests.
In the video, John Mahama was seen inside the hospital ward where one of the victims laid and was later briefed about the victim’s situation.
Ghanaians took to social media to lambast him for taking advantage of the situation to score political points.
However, John Mahama in a Facebook post has denied visiting the victims of the protests shooting.
According to him, the video which is making the rounds on social media is an old video
His post reads; “The video circulating of my visit to injured persons in a hospital is an old one, and has no link to current developments in Ejura”.
