Nana Ama McBrown has finally responded to persons who have been criticizing her style of hosting UTV’s United Showbiz ever since the show began.
The show which is a household favourite to many Ghanaians home and abroad airs on Saturday evenings; and has on several occasions made the headlines for the wrong reasons.
At one time, Funny Face and Lil Win ended up trading blows on the show. Freda Rhymz and Sista Afia also verbally assaulted each other in a heated argument about their beef. Shatta Wale’s manager Bulldog also got invited by the BNI after he allegedly threatened Nana Addo on the show.
Because of these incidents, some viewers think Nana Ama McBrown is doing poor as a host because she appears not to be able to control the people she hosts on the show.
Meanwhile, responding to her critics, she said she intentionally allow people to pour out their feelings on the show because she is an actress.
She was speaking with the Graphic Showbiz when she said; “I am an actress and I know how it feels when you are prevented from pouring your feelings out. I allow them to say whatever bothers them then we find a better solution for it”.
“I will not be happy if I cannot express my emotions on a particular issue”, she further stated.
