What is Insomnia?

Insomnia is the inability to sleep without any sleeping aid or medication. Or simply put; it is that moment you want to sleep, but can’t sleep.

Home Remedy for Insomnia

This is just a simple home remedy for insomnia. 

But firstly, get some lemon grass. If you don’t know what it is, it is that grass that has a very nice distinctive lemony smell. 

Insomnia lemongrass remedy preparation:

1. Wash and put your lemongrass in water and boil very well. When it done boiling, take it off the fire and allow for it to cool down. 

2. Grate 1 nutmeg (the nutmeg we all use at home for cooking).

3. Add the grated nutmeg into a cup of the lemon grass tea, stir and allow to simmer for at least 5 minutes.

Take this tea as the last thing you do for the day and voila; just watch your tired self sleep so soundly like a new born baby.

Alternative:

If getting lemongrass is hell for you, don’t worry. An alternative is getting a cup of warm milk and adding your netmeg to it. It works perfectly the same as the lemongrass.
