Head coach of Accra Great Olympics, Daniel Annor Walker, has launched an operation Top-4 campaign for the 2021/2022 season after their drawn match with newly promoted side, Real Tamale United (RTU) in week One of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking during the post-match interview after his 1-1 stalemate, he revealed that his target for the season is to be in the top 4.
“Honestly, it is a match that I wanted to win; and I knew I was going to win the match hands down. Unfortunately, we committed a foul which resulted in a penalty. However, I am thinking about preparing for the next game. I want to be in the top 4; that is what I put in my mind. But I knew what I have behind in my mind”.
Annor Walker who also doubles as Head coach for the Black Stars team B (Local Black Stars) mentioned that if he gets the opportunity to be first or second on the league log, he will thank God.
The former Berekum Chelsea and Nania FC coach concluded that they are going back to correct their mistakes.
“I’m praying, God should take us back home safely to do our corrections and win our next home match”, he further stated.
Annor Walker’s Olympics will face off another newly promoted side, Accra Lions. Accra Lions played a goalless draw in their debut encounter with Sharks in Week 1. Both teams will wrestle for their first win in Week 2 of the GPL.
