Media personality Giovanni Caleb has actually confirmed rumors suggesting that Joe Mettle will be getting married to Berla Mundi after the coronavirus pandemic is over.
A little background on Joe Mettle
Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle (Joe Mettle) has been writing and singing gospel music for over a decade and half, and because of his ability to evolve and absorb new ideas, he has become the preferred choice of the masses when it comes to Contemporary Gospel Music in Ghana.
Some of the high points in his career include when he became the first Gospel Musician to win the highest accolade at the 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) where he became the “Artiste of the Year” against all odds. He beat competition from heavy weights including Sarkodie, EL, Stonebwoy, MzVee and Medikal.
Also, he joined a star studded line up in Carnival City – Big Top Arena (South Africa) the previous year (October 2016) to perform at the “Gospel Goes Classical” Live recording event. Joe Mettle performed together with BET Award winning American Gospel artiste Donnie McClurkin and South African duo Ntokozo Mbambo and Mahalia Buchanan.
So this is the man we are talking about; an Internationally Recognized Gospel musician who has performed on a lot of international stages and won awards world-wide.
We woke up one morning to see the cyberspace flooded with rumors that Joe Mettle was getting married to TV3’s Berla Mundi. And these rumors were not spewed by just any stranger; it was disclosed by people very close to Berla Mundi.
Included in the list of rumor mongers is Berla’s good friend and colleague Giovanni Caleb. He took to social media to congratulate her for finding love. He was emphatic about the whole thing.
Me being a Mettle fan, I was overly excited to hear that my boss was getting married to a young and ambitious woman who I admire as well. I recall that in a recent interview, Joe Mettle stated that he was single. And the host asked him what he does when he feels h0rny. He responded by saying that all he does is to read his bible and pray; and everything down there goes back to factory reset. WOW!!!
So being a man and knowing how it feels when you’re horny with no hope of getting satisfied, I was really happy that my man has finally found a lasting solution to this particular situation.
However, it did not take long for Joe Mettle to deny the rumors in a conversation with a female fan on social media. In his own words, he wrote; “false news madam”. Oh okay, so let’s leave it at that.
I hardly have time to watch TV nowadays but I made time to watch the much talked about TV interview of Ghana’s biggest brand at the moment; the Nana Otafirija Pall-Bearing group who have appeared in almost every meme video since the break out of COVID-19.
They appeared on TV3’s Showbiz 360 show hosted by Berla Mundi’s friend Giovanni Caleb. He hosted the show wearing a customized nose mask which is now the latest addition to our fashion trends; thanks to the dreaded coronavirus disease. And he kept on hammering on the fact that he is wearing that nose mask because Joe Mettle wears a similar one from the same designer.
Towards the end of the show, he gave a number of the customized nose masks as gifts to Benjamin Aidoo, the Founder and leader of Nana Otafirija Pall-Bearing services and mentioned that he uses the same thing Joe Mettle uses; and he bought it because he (Giovanni) is close to Berla Mundi.
He said; “Joe Mettle has the same thing…that’s why I bought it…because I’m close to Berla Mundi”.
Right after that statement, Berla Mundi began calling Giovanni whilst he was still live on air.
My friends, if this is not further and better particulars to buttress my point, then what else do you want to see or hear before you believe that this wedding will DEFINITELY go down after Coronavirus?
