On Saturday June 18 2022, gunshots were fired inside the Tysons Corner Center mall in Virginia, sending customers fleeing to safety for their lives.

And according to The Washington Post, Fairfax Police who responded to the shooting at the mall stated that there was no active shooter.

They stated that a brawl broke out and one individual shot a pistol, causing fear throughout the mall.

In the middle of all of this, it has been revealed that a Ghanaian woman was at the Tysons Corner Center mall when the shot was fired.

She filmed the moment in which she was heard screaming as she dashed into the subterranean parking lot with several others seeking safety.

“Everyone is running for their lives. I haven’t even finished eating and I’ve not paid for the food I was eating. America is no longer safe,” she is heard saying while capturing the chaotic scene amid police reinforcement.

It is unknown who she is, but the video has gone viral, eliciting a wide range of reactions from Ghanaians about the safety of their countrymen in the United States.

Meanwhile, police have disclosed that three individuals were brought to local hospitals with injuries sustained while running, but no one was hit by gunfire.

In addition, while no arrests were made immediately, authorities said detectives are evaluating cameras from hundreds of various viewpoints and speaking with several eye witnesses.
