Ghanaian journalist and entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has earned the respect of Ghanaians on social media after yesterday’s clash with Shatta Wale on UTV’s United Showbiz.
Shatta Wale and entertainment journalist appeared as a guest on the show. The heated clash ensued after Shatta Wale requested an apology from the entertainment pundit for describing him as “confused and inconsistent”; something Arnold declined to do because he felt he did no wrong.
Shatta Wale then accused Arnold of being disrespectful and described him as a juvenile.
The topic for discussion was Shatta Wale’s State of the Music Industry address where the dancehall musician denied stating in his address that highlife and hiplife are not music genres.
During his noisy argument with Baidoo, Shatta Wale bragged about how he has been able to make it from the street; and dared Arnold to name any house he has been able to build since he became a journalist.
