Serbian coach, Milovan Rajevac has been announced as the next Ghana Black Stars coach. He will be engaged on a two-year deal worth $45,000 per month.
Rajevac was the first choice after a three-member committee set up to find a new Black Stars coach presented their report; following the sacking of Charles Akonnor.
The Ghana Football Association and the government have agreed to this option as he will be assisted by Otto Addo.

Meanwhile, another assistant coach is being considered because Otto Addo might likely not work for Ghana on a full-time basis.
The Hamburg-born footballer wants to combine the Ghana role with his current role as Dortmund assistant coach.
Hence, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and Maxwell Konadu are the reported contenders for the second assistant position.
Rajevac was Black Stars head coach for two years between 2008 and 2010, guiding Ghana to her first Afcon final in 20 years in 2010 and also leading the team to the World Cup quarter-finals in South Africa.

Rajevac quit Ghana a few months after the World Cup for a lucrative job in Saudi Arabia, where he was appointed head coach of Al-Ahli.
Since then, he has managed four teams including Algeria and Qatar.
But he has not coached any team since 2019 when he was sacked by Thailand.
