Ghana Must Take A 2 Years Break And Build A New Black Stars Team With Hungry Local Players – Afia Pokuaa

Broadcast journalist Afia Pokuaa popularly known as Vim Lady has reacted to the Ghana Black Stars 1-1 draw against Gabon in the second group match at the ongoing AFCON 2021.

The Black Stars conceded a last minute goal to draw 1-1 with Gabon in their Group C encounter on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Captain, Andre Ayew scored a superb goal in the 28th minute to put the Black Stars ahead after which the Black Stars lost control of the ball. The Gabonese made 13 attempts at goal from thence, scoring the equalizer in the 89th minute of the game.

With just a point, the Black Stars will now have to ensure victory in their last group game against the Comoros Island to have a chance of qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile reacting to the Black Stars draw with Gabon, Afia Pokuaa has suggested that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) bans all tournaments for two years and build a formidable team for future competitions.

She further advised that all agency players should be banned so that the new team can be built around hungry local players.

Afia Pokuaa took to Facebook to write; “*ALUTA-Occupy GFA from tomorrow

*Ban ALL tournaments for 2 yrs *Build a new TEAM with HUNGRY LOCAL PLAYERS

*BAN ALL AGENCY PLAYERS. Let’s build a new BLACK STARS TEAM. abre ne nkwasea football ”
