Dua Lipa is expected to perform double roles on the upcoming episode of SNL or Saturday Night Live, as she’ll take the stage not only as a musical guest but as the host too, on May 4, 2024.

This announcement came during the program’s latest episode which was hosted by Ryan Gosling, with Chris Stapleton being the musical guest.

Lipa’s upcoming third studio album titled, Radical Optimism is expected to be released on May 3 and spoke to Variety about the impact she wants to make with her project.

She began, “I think for me, the importance of understanding that when things are bad, there’s always some light at the end of the tunnel.”

“I always think about it like, when I’m in the midst of a mess of turmoil or everything’s going wrong, I always tell myself, in a couple months, I’m gonna look back on that moment, and be like, thank God I walked through it,” the Levitating hit-maker added.

“I think it’s important that we just learn to walk through the fire and not hide away from it, or shy away from it. That’s just optimism. It’s probably the most daring thing we can do,” the artist further stated, explaining her album’s concept.

Dua Lipa has previously appeared on SNL as the musical guest on February 3, 2018 which was hosted by Natalie Portman and on December 19, 2020 which was hosted by Kristen Wiig.
