We are closing in on Election 2020 and an issue which got the image of flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Dramani Mahama almost soiled, has resurfaced.
It will be recalled that weeks ago, it was heavily rumored that John Mahama was the father of Tracey Boakye’s daughter.
These rumors came to light during a social media tussle between Tracey and her one-time best friend and musician, MzBel. And as a result of their word fights, the term “Papa No” was birthed.
John Mahama’s political opponents took advantage and began dragging his name into the mud as he did his best not to be distracted as he was on the road campaigning for a second term as Ghana’s President.
Ghanaian musician, Barimah Sidney who is aligned to the ruling NPP also took advantage of the term to release a song titled “Papa No” which the party is currently using for their campaign.
However, there is a latest twist to the whole issue; CEO of Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kweku Oteng who has 5 wives has been fingered as the father of Tracey’s daughter, Nana Akua Nhyira.
According to a woman, the Kumasi based millionaire is the father of the baby girl.
It will be recalled that Tracey came out to apologize to the former President, his wife and family for allowing his name to be dragged into the mud in such a manner. Probably, there was some iota of truth in her statement.
In the leaked audio message, the woman stated that Dr. Kwaku Oteng is Nana Akua Nhyira’s dad. And indeed, comparing the little girl’s picture to that of the millionaire, there is little or no difference.
If this is true, then Nana Akua Nhyira has a lot of money already waiting for her in the bank; and her mum will swim in riches for the rest of her life.
Indeed, things are happening in this small Ghana we find ourselves in.
