American rappers Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper have paid the President of Ghana, Nana Addo a courtesy call at the Jubilee House.
Vic Mensa who has Ghanaian descent had been frequenting Ghana since last year. But this time round, he came along with Chance The Rapper for the December festivities and the New Year holidays.
The duo have been linking up with other Ghanaian acts whilst exploring life in Accra. And in their latest move, they visited the Jubilee House to meet with Ghana’s President.
Breaking the news on social media, the official handle of @beyondthereturn wrote; “@vicmensa and @chancetherapper along with @ivyprosper @beyondthereturn had a meeting with @nakufoaddo @diasporaaffairs.ghana earlier this week”.
The post further explained that; “the artists discussed a potential idea that would bridge the gap between artists in Ghana and the U.S. using their strong ties and relationships in the music industry to connect artists as well as amplify the talent in Ghana and the rest of Africa“.
The popular American rapper, Chance The Rapper, who has a huge following of over 14 million followers on Instagram has already disclosed that his grandparents have made some impacts in Ghana when he attended church in Accra this past weekend.
