A Russian woman, Tatyana, has been sentenced in court after sat on her husband, Aidar, during a misunderstanding; and refused to let him free until he “begs for forgiveness”.
According to daughter of the couple who witnessed the whole incident, her father’s face was pinned down on the bed just as she rushed out to seek help from neighbors. Her mother sat on his neck, using her legs so he could not lift it.
Reports have it that a female neighbour came in to help the man; but after walking in, she mistook the whole incident for a simple domestic fight. She thought that the couple would resolve their issues after Tatyana told her she wanted to “calm him down” after they had been drinking.

However, Aidar died shortly after the neighbour had left.
Tatyana has been convicted and sentenced to 18 months of corrective labour and ordered to pay around £2,000 in “moral damages”.
