Ex-captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, has disclosed that he has never taken an alcoholic drink nor smoked in his life; contrary to the popular opinion that he drinks and smokes.
Speaking during an exclusive interview on Kumasi based Sompa FM, the former striker stated that though he has lived and still lives with a lot of people who drink and smoke marijuana, it has never occurred to him to taste it.
However, Asamoah Gyan says that the smoke from Shisha while in the club with the boys was the only smoke that had entered his system.
He said; “I’ve never drunk alcohol in my entire life. I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t smoke marijuana too. The only thing I have smoked in my life is shisha”
The football player also discussed his book “The LeGyandary,” adding that it serves as a guide for those who aspire to be like him.
According to him, his new book covers the motivational factor that has placed him in his present position so that others might benefit from him.
