Deputy Black Stars captain and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, has been enstooled as a chief in Manya Krobo, his town of birth.
Manya Krobo can be located in Ghana’s Eastern region; and is mostly noted for its glass bead-making. And Thomas Partey has been enstooled as the Development Chief of the area.
The Konor (Paramount Chief) of the Manya Krobo Traditional Area, Nene Sakite II, honored the Thomas in a ceremony for his football achievements whilst lifting the image of Manya Krobo.
In a Twitter post by sports journalist George Addo Junior, the Arsenal midfield linchpin arrived at the gathering amid fanfare and celebrations and was later enstooled as Development chief.
His new title, “Mahefalor” conferred on him by the Konor of the Krobo Traditional Area Nene Sakite II Mahefalor means “Defender of Krobo Traditional Area”.
