Popular kumawood actor Patrick Safo, who is also a pastor in real life has reportedly died, days after the untimely death of another kumawood star, Osei Tutu.
Ghanaian blogger Osei Kwabena took to social media to announce the sad news.
He wrote; “Kumawood actor and pastor, Rev. Patrick Safo is dead….May his soul rest with the Lord 😢😢😢😭🙏”
According to vintage Ghanaian newspaper, the Weekly Spectator, he died after he drowned in a pool, although the precise place the tragedy occurred has not been made public yet.
Close friends of the late actor have taken to social media to confirm that he lost his life through drowning.
Some social media users have already poured in their heartfelt condolences after the news went viral. “Omg, he was my friend. I haven’t heard from him in more than 10 years. May his soul rest in peace,” one netizen expressed.
“It is alleged that he drowned yesterday in a pool”, another netizen wrote.
