Anne Curtis-Smith was born on February 17, 1985, in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia. She is the daughter of Carmen Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao, Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Anne has two siblings, her younger sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith, also an actress, and her brother Thomas James Curtis-Smith.

Curtis spent her early childhood in Australia, completing her primary education there before moving to the Philippines to pursue an entertainment career. She continued her studies at Colegio de Santa Rosa in the Philippines.

Career

Anne Curtis began her career as a child actress, appearing in commercials and television shows at a young age. She made her film debut at age 12 in the 1997 fantasy drama Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis. Her breakthrough role came in 2005 when she starred as a disfigured woman in the television series Kampanerang Kuba

From 1998 to 2003, Curtis took on minor and supporting roles in films and TV shows. In 2004, she transitioned from GMA Network to ABS-CBN, describing the shift as “life-changing.” Her first project with ABS-CBN was the drama series Hiram. She also joined the variety show ASAP as a host and performer.
