‘Angel’ Obinim Arrested By Police And Fined GH¢1,200 For Breaking Road Traffic Regulations  


Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of God’s Way International Church, and his driver have been arrested by Police for road traffic regulation violations. 

According to a statement released on the official and verified page of the Ghana Police Service, Bishop Obinim together with his driver were arrested after their land cruiser was captured on a camera fitted with strobe lights and siren; contrary to road traffic regulations.

He appeared before an Akropong Magistrate Court where he was ordered to pay GH¢1,200. The court also ordered them to remove the strobe light and the siren from their car.

The Ghana police service via the statement warned the general public especially car owners against using strobe lights and sirens which they are not entitled to.
