The absence of Amanda Holden from the Saturday Night Takeaway has been addressed stating the mum-of-two was not supposed to attend the finale after she was locked in a tussle with Sharon Osbourne.
Sharing the details, an ITV spokesman told The Mirror, “Amanda was listed in credits along with every other celebrity involved in the Revenge GOOME (in studio or not). Amanda wasn’t meant to be here tonight, nor was Holly, Gino, Richard and Olly – all had prior engagements.”
The spat between the pair was kicked off after Amanda called Sharon “bitter and pathetic” for slamming her British Got Talent’s co-judge Simon Cowell during Celebrity Big Brother.
“I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had,” the 53-year-old told Daily Mail.
“It’s bitter and pathetic. It was like Cinderella with her two sisters in the background – just stabby, stabby, stabby.”
